Hi! I'm Tiffany, the founder of First Choice Interpreting Service.

With over 26 years of interpreting experience—including 24 years as a Nationally Certified Interpreter rooted in my hometown of Washington, D.C.—I have developed a deep understanding of the critical importance of providing meaningful communication access. In a profession where People of Color remain significantly underrepresented, my mission is to connect individuals, corporations, and businesses with highly skilled, diverse, and professional interpreters. I have remained committed to expanding opportunities for diverse interpreters while ensuring clients receive exceptional, culturally responsive services. My work is grounded in the belief that representation matters—not only in who provides services, but in how those services are delivered.

I founded my company in 2008 with the initial goal of pursuing more direct work as a practitioner and establishing myself as a credible Independent Contractor. Over time, that vision evolved as I recognized broader gaps and inequities within the profession. What began as a personal pursuit has grown into a mission-driven effort to connect highly qualified interpreters with clients who value both expertise and diversity.

Today, I am proud to help bridge those gaps by thoughtfully matching qualified interpreters with the right opportunities, shaping a more inclusive, equitable approach to interpreting services.
