FCIS is a minority-, woman-, and Black-owned business specializing in the provision of American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting services. While our primary service area includes the Washington, D.C. metropolitan region—encompassing Maryland and Virginia (DMV)—we also offer virtual services and support clients nationwide and globally.

Our interpreters are carefully vetted and selected based on their skills, experience, and professionalism, enabling us to effectively meet the diverse needs of both consumers and clients. We are committed to delivering high-quality language access solutions across a broad range of environments.

Whether supporting a family gathering, corporate meeting, or large-scale public event, our goal is to provide you and your organization with qualified, professional interpreters, including those who are nationally certified by RID ( the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf) and/or who hold a certification through the BEI (Board for Evaluation of Interpreters). All interpreters are expected to adhere to their respective certifying bodies’ Codes of Professional Conduct, ensuring integrity and excellence in service delivery.
