The Founder

Hi! I'm Tiffany, the founder of First Choice Interpreting Service.

With 21 years of interpreting experience and 17 years as a Nationally Certified Interpreter, in my hometown of Washington, D.C., I understand the significance of providing communication access. In a field where People Of Color are sorely underrepresented, whether you are an individual, corporation, or small business, my goal is to supply you with diversified and professional interpreters.

​I established my company in 2008 with the simple goal of seeking out more direct work as a practitioner to legitimize myself as an Independent Contractor. With the passing of time, as gaps and inequities within my profession became more apparent, so did my desire to fill them. Now, with the opportunity to bridge those gaps by seeking to connect the right interpreters with the right jobs, I can assist with moving the needle forward, and reframing, in some small way, how we approach business.

Trust me when I say, as a minority-owned business, I know how important representation is to you. My network and I strive to provide equitable interpreting solutions for all of your needs.
